What People Are Saying About Jennifer’s Writing Workshops

"Jennifer continues to push me to tell my story in ways I never realized were possible, especially when some memories initially felt so distant. Without her constant presence urging me to dig deeper and "show don't tell" I would have never uncovered some of my most precious memories and done a disservice to a 10 year span of my life. Jennifer encourages personal growth, demands excellence and discovers your greatest yearning. In the end you will get so much more than a first draft or a finished manuscript.” - Jamie Cooperstein

“Jennifer Schelter has created a unique practice that deeply touches your mind, body and soul. You will access places in yourself that you never imagined existed and eventually realize that you could never imagine not having gone there. You will do this all through trust, tears, and joyous laughter.” - Anne Marie Kennedy

“Not only is Jennifer kind, supportive and professional, she is also magical and anyone who wants to write should take her course. “ - Jessica Votrouk

"Jennifer is an exceptional writing teacher and guide. The combination of Jennifer's extensive training and her passion for developing her students' gifts for storytelling led me to uncover the deeper layers of the story I was creating and the scenes that wove it together. Professional, smart, and sincere, she empowers her students to value the art of writing and to believe in their ability to create with integrity. I will never write another essay or book without her.” - Jennifer Kreatsoulas, PhD, C-IAYT
